[While listening, Thor is already in the process of getting out of bed, despite the desire to call Loki a fool and flop back down onto his pillow.
Alas, he succumbs to brotherly concern, and he's starting to pull on a sweatshirt.]
If you're ten years younger, you could surely spare an hour for your weary elders. [He's yawning.] Some of us do not have the luxury of youthful vigor.
You should know better than anyone that you catch more flies with honey than.. [He considers it.] slaps.
Perhaps we should discuss this over breakfast, not portals. [There's fidgeting, as he slips jeans on over his boxers and finds a matching pair of shoes. He's pulling his bedraggled hair back into a clasp, since he doesn't particularly feel Loki is in dire need of assistance.
... Very well. This smaller body does need to consume vast amounts of bacon in order to stay awake, I suppose, and I can't afford to weaken right now. [ And he forgot to have breakfast this morning after falling out of bed in shock. Loki names a cafe not far from the site of the portal. ] I'll order for both of us.
[ There may be a stack of bacon rolls and pancakes on the diner table whenever Thor arrives. ]
[Thor farewells Loki, and slows his roll somewhat now that he's been able to take Loki from crisis mode to concern mode with the mere concept of breakfast.
He gets dressed, pulls his hair back and heads down to the cafe promptly. It doesn't take him long to scan the cafe and lay eyes upon a very small Loki and a very big stack of food.
He invites himself to sit, and starts eating immediately.]
You changed your hair. [He observes, nonchalant to see if he can rile Loki up.]
[ Huffing, he pulls off his circlet and yanks the hood down, revealing a flop of dark hair. Loki marvels, privately, at how much smaller he actually is than Thor like this, squashed into a body that once felt so foreign and now, thanks to the portal, does once again. ]
[ Perhaps I like it better this way. His own Thor had felt the same, unable to so much as listen to Loki when he confessed to murdering the owner of the body in which he now sits. It hadn't even been a fight, simply one aggrieved god battering another in Loki's own home. No explanation or remorse could ever make them see eye to eye again.
He stops eating, appetite dwindling. The miserable look he wears intensifies and Loki chins a hand as he peers idly out the window of the diner. ]
[It is a particular talent of Loki's to tug on Thor's heart strings. It works even better when he's small and sad, it makes Thor feel momentarily horrible despite not being remotely responsible for this.]
This shall pass, I am sure. I could not tell you how, but we will get to the bottom of it. [Thor reaches a fork out to push the food on Loki's plate.] You will not be as smart if you are not well fed.

As you can see, things are dire.

[But he still grins when he makes Loki so frustrated. Loki had tricks, back in the day, but Thor was the intolerable one.]
Perhaps I like it better this way. You're much easier to pick up, it will keep you out of trouble.
