Powers —

Skills:
• He's a battle experienced combatant with some tactical skills and skill with a variety of weapons.
• He's had a formal, royal education that involved becoming multilingual in some lesser known languages.

Superpowers:
Asgardian Physiology
Asgardians are essentially "gods". They live long (well past 1000s), they have super strength, super speed and heightened endurance/durability. He can take a beating. They also have regenerative healing and heal much faster from wounds than humans. He can survive without oxygen in space and has at least some resistance to heat as his skin and bones have a higher density than that of a human. Bullets, blasts and powerful forceful blows rarely fully impede him.

Even for an Asgardian, Thor is particularly physically strong to the extent that he is a notably fearsome warrior on a planet of warriors and allegedly the third strongest (after Hela and Odin but they're both dead SOOO). His strength is such that he can mow down multiple attacking enemies at once and can crush large or seemingly durable objects. Since he primarily fights with a hammer or axe, he has a powerful swing that can crush the skulls of huge monsters.

His speed is heightened enough that he appears to visibly when viewed by Quicksilver, (who is inhumanely fast and has accelerated perception) while Thor's teammates seem to be frozen in comparison. His stamina is such that he can keep this up for great lengths without rest, offering encouragement to teammates who start to feel exhaustion.

Lighting
Thor has the innate ability to generate, control and project electrical energy, with him (hence "God of Thunder"). This works effectively when he has something like Mjolnir or Stormbreaker (a focus) to channel his power through. Although he previously required a weapon to channel through, this is no longer the case. His lightning is powerful enough to stun Hulk and crack the Rainbow Bridge in Asgard.

His power seems to increase with Stormbreaker, now able to knock back powerful figures like Thanos with lightning blasts.

Storm Manipulation
He has been shown to summon storms and often rain and thunder is a sign of his approach. He can control where rain falls to some extent ie; he can create an invisible umbrella over himself. It seems tethered to his emotions in a way that suggests he doesn't fully have control ie; storm clouds and thunder can appear when he is particularly distressed or angry.

Stormbreaker:
Storm breaker is an enchanted axe. It is connected to Thor in a similar fashion to Mjolnir, it can be summoned to his hand and seems to have similar rules around who can wield it. However, it doesn't seem as strict as worthiness and may come down to mortality.

Stormbreaker also has teleportation powers. It has the powers of the bi-frost, which allows instantaneous travel anywhere in the Nine Realms.

Limitations:
•Although Thor is hard to kill, it is not impossible. He can be grievously harmed, injured or poisoned by things that are specifically created to be used against higher beings
• Thor is able to be de-powered by the obedience disks on Sakaar which are just little devices attached to your skin that tase you (aggressively) when you disobey
•Thor is extremely susceptible to mental manipulation and sorcery, Wanda, Dr.Strange and Loki have effectively used their magic on him and he's kind of gullible and easy to trick
•Thor is in a somewhat fragile state of mind at his canon point and is about one big failure away from an emotional breakdown, he is suffering from a huge amount of grief
Personality —

Warmth/Graciousness:
If you were here, I might even give you a hug.

A notable aspect of Thor's character is his warm, friendly demeanour. He can be intimidating to behold, but he values love, family and friendship above all things. Despite Loki's betrayal, but he still has a great deal of love for him. This plays into his affectionate nature, humour and his loyalty. He puts up with a lot of shit (and he gives a lot too) but you will never find a better friend. Thor is there when everything goes to shit, and he's more than willing to help strangers out of dire situations.

Loyalty:
Believe me, I would love for someone else to rule. But it can't be you.

Loyalty and dedication ultimately drive a lot of the choices Thor makes. It stems from his upbringing he had on Asgard, but his word means a lot to him. He doesn't make promises he can't keep, and he expects the same of others. Perhaps too much, at times.

He found interest in Earth and takes his role as an Avenger very seriously. He's loyal to his father and loves his brother to the end, despite.. everything. His friends are his friends forever. He stepped back from Asgard and the throne but sacrificed everything to protect it because he believed it should be his burden to bear.

Bravery:
Because that's what heroes do!

Nothing stands in Thor's way when he's doing what he believes is right. He's determined, if not a little head strong, but he'll put his life on the line to protect his people (friends, citizens of Asgard and Earth, family). Thor will throw himself into a fight and will do whatever it takes, even if it means going about it in unconventional manners (ie; trusting Loki, again).

Temper:
We're not friends, and I don't give a shit about your games!

Thor was renowned for his foul, childish temper and mood swings. In recent years, he's got it under control, but he's still prone to the occasional (violent) lash out. Ex; when he went straight for Tony's throat during Age of Ultron. Arguably, he gets mad for better reasons these days, but he still has a tendency to throw things around, stomp and sulk. On Sakaar, he lashes out at the Hulk and he gets petty. He insults his decor as well as his intelligence and he gets into a screaming match with a literal rage monster.

Pride:
Yes, of course. People on earth love me, I'm very popular.

Being the Son of Odin, Strongest Warrior of Asgard and God of Thunder gives Thor a lot of reason to be smug. He's still prone to using his name and his reputation to get his way and he tends to assume people know who he is. Confidence isn't a bad thing, but sometimes Thor takes it to the next level. He anticipates that he will be able to influence situations in his favour, and it wounds him when things don't work out that way.

Stubbornness:
I make grave mistakes all the time. Everything seems to work out...

Once Thor decides or fixates on something, it's difficult to lead him off his path. He knows what he's about, most of the time. He likes to think he knows what's right and that he makes good, educated choices. Sometimes, he's just going with his gut and sometimes it means you get dragged into things with him. To Thor, doing something is always better than being complacent. It just so happens that doing something also means doing something reckless and dangerous.

Areas of Interest / Brainstorming:
As stated above, Thor is in a bit of a fragile state and I was not particularly happy with how Endgame dealt with him coping with a huge loss and massive guilt. I am keen to get into the arc he's travelling toward with Thor: Love and Thunder which is the journey to finding out who he is without Asgard and without the same responsibility on his shoulders.

I'd like to play some cathartic experiences, for him to learn from other heroes or Regular Folk who can share what makes them feel enriched and happy and how they cope with guilt. Inter-personal plots are always a joy for this.

I also always love team-work, random pair-ups/team ups and characters working together to take down one enemy.
