[It's exceedingly complicated for Thor, who still mourns his Loki deeply. He feels incredibly protective of the vacant place he's left, but he also can't fight the parts of him drawn to either of the Lokis who have made their way here. He supposes it might be because even if he's not their Thor, he'd like to think most Thors would hope for someone to keep an eye on their Loki.
Though he's heard middling reviews of himself in other worlds. Some Thors lose their way, which is also weirdly comforting to a Thor currently living in limbo.
Of course, it wouldn't be Loki if there weren't some smoke and mirrors and hundreds of years of his brother's gaslighting and girlbossing has made Thor struggle to trust any conclusion he comes to. But he dwells in that state, because Schroginger's Loki is better than what he's sure will be an upsetting truth.
And despite all of that, his voice is painfully affectionate when he responds.]

[ the distance is much easier. he's already accepted that he's been isolated so long at this point that he gets.. overwhelmed. overstimulated. he's not used to interacting anymore, he's not used to someone hearing when he speaks, much less answering.
