i have some good news and some bad news, which do you want first?

Give me the bad news, because I am assuming it's just slightly less good than the good news.

the bad news is that we left a closet door open when qiri was in the house, and he got his little teeth into your cloak and dragged it out. it looks like he chewed or ripped into a good portion of it with his claws

[What belongings they have with them from home are important, at least to Bryn's way of thinking. She's not certain how much attachment he has to it, but it seems better to err on the safe side that he feels the same.]

the good news is that i eventually got it away from him and there's enough left that we can hem the ruined portion off of it and turn it into a capelet instead, or some sort of sarong for me.

Perhaps it would be better to rebirth it into something nice for you. I'd look ridiculous in a capelet. Like an overgrown child.

Besides, it's a nice relic from home but I was starting to wonder if a cape was a bit too on the nose.

[The dog is getting put out in the yard, in the fenced in space set aside specifically for it. The worst Qiri can do there is dig up the grass or chew his toys into pieces, which is what they're made for anyway.
